1

Legal basis for using cookies

We set strictly necessary cookies on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a working website. All other cookies, including analytics and marketing cookies, are set only with your consent, which you give through the cookie banner or the settings dialog and may withdraw at any time.

2

Categories of cookies we use

We use essential cookies required to run the site and remember your consent choices; preference storage that remembers settings you choose; analytics cookies that help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used; and marketing cookies that may be set to measure the relevance of our communications. Only essential cookies are active unless you consent to the others.

3

Essential cookies

These cookies are necessary for the site to function. They keep track of your session, support security, and record your cookie preferences so we do not ask again on every page. Because the site cannot work properly without them, they cannot be switched off.

4

Preference cookies

Preference storage remembers choices you make on the site. Today the only preference stored is your cookie choice itself, described below; if we later remember anything else, such as a shortlist of stones for a sample request, it will be listed here. It does not track you across other websites.

5

Analytics cookies

Analytics cookies collect information about how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how people reach them. We use this data in aggregate to improve the catalog and planning tools. These cookies are set only with your consent.

6

Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies may be used to measure the effectiveness of our communications and to avoid showing you irrelevant messages. They are set only with your consent and can be withdrawn at any time through the settings dialog.

7

Third-party cookies

Some cookies may be set by third parties that provide services to us, such as analytics providers. These providers process data under their own policies, and we recommend reviewing them. We do not permit third parties to use cookies set through our site for their own unrelated purposes.

8

How long cookies last

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period or until you delete them. Consent records are kept for a reasonable period so that we can demonstrate your choices.

9

Managing cookies on this site

You can change your choices at any time using the cookie settings control in the footer of every page. Opening it lets you turn analytics and marketing cookies on or off; essential cookies remain active because the site depends on them.

10

Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies through their settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent parts of the site from working, including features that remember your selections. Refer to your browser's help pages for instructions specific to your device.

11

Do Not Track signals

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common standard for how these signals should be handled, we respond to them through the consent controls described above rather than automatically.

12

Relationship to our Privacy Policy

This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how any personal data collected through cookies is handled and what rights you have over it.

13

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our use of cookies or the law changes. The current version is always posted here with the date above updated. Please review it periodically.

14

What this site stores in your browser

At the date above, the pages set no cookies of their own. The one thing the site writes to your device is an entry in your browser's local storage, named wh_consent followed by the site's host name. It records that essential storage is on, whether you allowed analytics, preferences and marketing, and the time you decided. It is written when you press Accept All, Essential Only or Save Choices, and it stays until you clear this site's data in your browser.

15

Analytics and advertising tools

The pages as published load no analytics or advertising scripts. The three optional switches in the settings dialog exist so that your choice is already on record if we add such a tool later, and so that any tool we add must respect it. If that happens we will list it here before it is switched on.

16

Fonts loaded from Google

The headings and body text are set in Newsreader and Public Sans, which your browser fetches from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. This is not a cookie, but your browser contacts those servers when a page loads, so Google receives your IP address and basic browser details. We cannot switch this off through the cookie dialog.

17

Changing or withdrawing your choice

Press Cookie settings in the footer of any page to reopen the dialog and choose again. To remove the stored record completely, clear site data for lunar-quarry.com in your browser's privacy settings, after which the banner will appear again on your next visit. Questions about this page can be sent to info@lunar-quarry.com.

18

Governing law and jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of Japan, and any dispute arising from it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tokyo, Japan.
